地瓜地瓜, 顶呱呱!
Mum and I fell in love with this sweet dessert side dish after several visits to the sushi restaurant. Hahaha. Although our first encounter with this dish after we got it off the conveyor belt was pretty embarrassing! Curious at the new recommended dish, we cautiously took it and sank our teeth *quickly* into it. It didn;t budge. It was a rock. An edible rock. Should we be socially unacceptable and put the remaining back on the belt HAHAHA OBVIOUSLY WE DID NOT.
So we asked the waiter.
(Jane: is this edible, what is this, why is it so hard, my teeth is hurting. help i need the dentist.)
Then we realised, we gotta sink our teeth slowly. The caramel coating will melt and we can devour the sweet coating with the sweet potato, which pleasantly surprises you like a gentle "peekaboo".
We fell in love with it.
I am not someone with a sweet tooth.
But oh this was heaven.
And my great mama bear made this at home. Isn't she lovely and talented. 👩👩👩👩👩👍
Whatever I love to eat, mum makes them readily available, anytime and anywhere HEHE.
Caramel is hot and can splatter. Mum's so brave!! 💪💪 |
