Yong Tau Foo soup

People who know me, definitely know that I LUV MY VEGGIEEE. :) and yong tau foo soup is a chance for me to show my love for veggie. :)

So when we are eating out, my friends' bowls would be filled with sausages, meat ball, or some deep-fried item, mine would be tofu, vegetables, and more vegetables. Hahaha.

Homecooked yong tau foo soup is sweet. Mum buys the item from a fish stall in the market. The filling in the slit made on the items is fish. So I guess the fish stall owner in the market is smart to make their own yong tau foo from the fish they sell. :)
They often sell a variety of dishes, and yup look at the photograph I attached! They often have cute cartoon characters.. I'd seen stars, pigs, bears, penguins, angry birds, hello kitty or even doraemon. AWWW. (But hur hur I am sorry I guess I didn't know how to appreciate the taste of it because it can be quite tough to chew hahaha)
The achar at the stall is a must-buy too. :) When mum cooks yong tau foo soup, we would eat it with rice and the achar is the side which adds kickkkkk. (I cannot really take spicy food, but this achar is yummmy, worth the tear and the sweat!)
Maybe another time, when I do our usual market trips with mum, I'll take a snapshot of the wonderful stall and attach it here? ^.^

Mum's homecooked yong tau foo soup is definitely different from the ones selling outside.
Mum makes her own broth with ikan billis or soy bean (NO MSG, WE DON'T HAVE MSG AT HOME.. apart from the instant noodles packet.).
And me being someone who LOVES SOUPS, drinking a million bowls of mum's yong tau foo soup would be perfectly alright and fine and even healthy.

Because the soups at hawker centres or even restaurant, sadly, have a lot of MSG and I think I am sensitive (or is it allergic, idk) to this MSG so drinking too much gives me horrible side effects like, breathlessness, tingling sensations, or even feeling nervous. (This is the same as drinking coffee.)
What even.
I am such a sensitive person, aren't I. :/ Physically, emotionally and mentally. Why.

YUP. So I love mum's yong tau foo soup and all the other soups she cooks because they are really good. Ok 'good' isn't a good word. LOL.

Mum's soups are sweet, rich, flavourful, therapeutic, healthy, calming.
